Hi Mr. Brown,

 

After hearing your ads on the radio for quite some time now, I was compelled to write you to say THANK YOU for being up front, honest and to the point.

 

Having worked in the mortgage business for a little over 5 years, I know exactly what you're saying.  The ads that you call out on the radio absolutely infuriate me and was one of the many reasons I got out of the business.  The misrepresentation, the fraud, the dishonesty, all to make a buck.  I truly believe that if there weren't so many dishonest mortgage people out there, the economy would not be as bad off as it is today.

 

Granted, it takes two to tango, but why can't people just be honest and tell them exactly how a home loan works?  I know the people that used me did so because they trusted me...obviously I never had the best rate, but they knew what they were getting up front with NO surprises in the end.

 

I'm so glad there are people like you in this business that call a spade a spade.  If I ever have someone ask me about mortgages again (which they still do) I'm going to send them your way as I'm sure you'll be up front, honest and help educate them on how the mortgage business really works!

Bruce, 

I just wanted to thank you so very my much for all your hard work.  You have always been there for me to answer all my questions and take care of my clients needs, from the very first time we have worked together. 

I can not thank you and compliment you enough. 

You even went as far as taking your Laptop with you to Florida, to help me get this contract through this weekend. 

Business has picked up for me (Thank God) in the last few weeks and I have a dozen new referrals, working till 10pm every night has been hard, but having my lender stick by my side and always being there to answer all of my phone calls, is much appreciated. 

I thank you again for all your hard work and taking take of me and my clients.

This is my first home and I would have to say the experience is quantifiable in terms of my experiences as a renter and just plain horrible roommates. I am somewhat of a detail oriented, penny pushing person that demands information assurance in terms of my information remaining secure. Not everyone thinks about their pay stub laying on your mortgage lenders desk or their EMD check sitting out with the title companies name on the check for other people to see despite it only being the buyers business. For me, purchasing a home was one of the most insane, yet at the same time, one of the more intelligent things I have done in my life at 24, and yet it still manages to be scary as hell! With all that said, Charles was there and was able to encompass all of my never ending grueling needs as a home buyer and kept those security concerns in mind. Charles was able to explain things to me in ways I could comprehend and when I still had a number of troubles with a few items and how they may have incorporated themselves into the contract he would stay on the phone longer at work and even at home when he was trying to take care of his own family just to ensure my proper understanding of this home owning endeavor I choose to take on myself.

 

If I should ever run into someone including myself again with buying a home I am sure I would have no problem passing on the good news about Charles Ferrara and First Security. J Downing

Just wanted you to know what a great job Scott did last week on closing a rather challenging Ford buyer...and I was overwhelmed with relocation business and Scott jumped right in and made sure everything was done for closing.  This buyer had tried 5 other lenders until Scott was able to make it happen for him! Bruce,   Recently, I had a client that had already begun the "mortgage experience" before they were put in touch with me. Knowing the mortgage co. was out of this area, I soon became involved in trying to reach this loan officer. Much to our dismay, he didn't respond to our calls or emails.  After missing our first closing, I sent my clients to Scott, who immediately started working on the loan.  It wasn't an easy one either but Scott stuck with it and made everything fall into place. He made it his job to always keep in touch with me, my clients and even the listing agent.  Scott took us all the way to closing.

Scott was so very helpful. He actually came into the picture late in the game as we had been working with another loan officer (from a different co.) who clearly was NOT doing his job. Scott jumped in there and made it happen in such a timely manner and, not only that, he kept us very informed during the process. I just have to say, that the last time we closed on a house, it was a nightmare, even being our credit union (which is DCU). I cried almost everyday because the loan department there didn't have a clue on what they were doing. Even after we closed, we were still dealing with problems of information not being passed along. With Charles, I never had to worry about 1 thing. Actually, we were even out of town until 3 hours before our closing because we trusted in Charles,I knew we were in good hands . I know alot of people that have used Charles and they all feel the same way. I just want to thank your company for being so grateful that we have used you. My husband and I manage a Lodge and we strive on customer service. It's nice to know that there are other operations that value their customers as we do.
